KINDS OF MATERIALS
1. PICTURES
*These are electronic or digital pictures or photographs you have save in any local storage device.Types of Picture Files:
a. .JPG-this is pronounced as "jay-peg" and short term for .jpeg or "Joint Photographic Expert Group"
b. .GIF-stands for "Graphics Interchange Format" and it is also capable of displaying simple animation.
c. .PNG-this is pronounce as "ping". It stands for "Portable Network Graphics"
2. CLIP ART
*Line art drawings or images used as generic representation for ideas and object.
*Microsoft Word has a library of clip arts that is build in or can be downloaded and used freely.
3. SHAPES
*These are printable objects or materials that you can integrate in your document.
4. SMART ART
*These are predefined sets of different shapes grouped together to forms ideas that are organizational or structural in nature.
5. CHART
*Allows you to represent data characteristics and trends.
*Useful when you are preparing reports that correlate and represent data in graphical manner.
6. SCREEN SHOT
*Microsoft Word even provides a snipping tool for your screen shots so you can select and display only the part that you exactly like to capture on your screen.
